Jeans Washing / Wash Design
Our innovative, self-developed and patented technology enables sustainable and ecological, chemistry free washing designs and washing of jeans.
In detail, "Jeans-Wash" is a blasting process in which solid carbon dioxide, so-called dry ice, with a temperature of around -79 ° C is used as a blasting medium.
Dry ice is electrically non-conductive, chemically inert, non-toxic and non-combustible. Dry ice is electrically non-conductive, chemically inert, non-toxic and non-combustible.
In contrast to other blasting media, dry ice at ambient pressure without liquefaction passes directly from the solid to the gaseous state - sublimating it. To remove the indigo colour of jeans, the dry ice particles are accelerated and hit the material to be processed at the speed of sound.
In order to make the treatment process cost-effective, even in large quantities, the dry ice blasting nozzle is not guided manually but via a robot.
